Position: Elementary Education Teachers – K-6
Type of Job: 1.0FTE
Description: Aspire Academy is looking for creative and results-driven teachers who will be responsible for instructing students in a STEM elementary school from grades K-6. The goal-oriented teachers must have the ability to create lesson plans with STEM integration, be culturally responsive, instruct students on subjects such as science, reading, math, writing, and lab activities. Overall, be skilled in the ability to create a well-rounded, comprehensive instructional program.
Position: Physical Education Teacher – K-6
Type of Job: 1.0FTE
Description: Aspire Academy is looking for creative and results-driven teachers who will be responsible for instructing students in a STEM elementary school from grades K-6. The goal-oriented physical education teacher must have the ability to develop students’ physical skills and abilities, strength, agility, poise, coordination, and teamwork; to develop students’ understanding of the importance of exercise to physical and mental well-being; and to motivate students to work towards, physical fitness, hygiene, and good health. The candidate must be culturally responsive. Overall, be skilled in the ability to create a well-rounded, comprehensive instructional program.
Position: Special Education Teacher – K-6
Type of Job: 1.0FTE
Description: Aspire Academy is looking for creative and results-driven teachers who will be responsible for instructing students in a STEM elementary school from grades K-6. The goal-oriented special education teacher is responsible for supporting the academic and behavioral needs of Aspire Academy students who receive special education services and who are diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The Special Education Teacher will work alongside fellow teachers, social worker, psychologist and under the guidance of the Special Education Director. The candidate must be culturally responsive, instruct students on subjects such as science, reading, social studies, math, writing, and lab activities. Overall, be skilled in the ability to create a well-rounded, comprehensive instructional program.
Position: ELL Teacher – K-6
Type of Job: 1.0FTE
Description: Aspire Academy is looking for creative and results-driven teachers who will be responsible for instructing students in a STEM elementary school from grades K-6. The goal-oriented ELL teacher is responsible for teaching and supporting students with language acquisition skills, translating and Access and WIDA testing. Pedagogically, best practices are encouraged and Aspire expected. The candidate must be culturally responsive, instruct students on subjects such as science, reading, math, writing, social studies, and lab activities. Overall, be skilled in the ability to create a well-rounded, comprehensive instructional program.
Position: Arabic Teacher
Type of Job: 1.0FTE
Description: Aspire Academy is looking for creative and results-driven teachers who will be responsible for instructing students in a STEM elementary school from grades K-6. The goal-oriented Arabic teacher is responsible for teaching and supporting students with language acquisition skills, sets ambitious learning goals for all students, creates cognitively demanding tasks, and models the belief that all students can master challenging material through effective effort. The candidate must be culturally responsive and passionate and optimistic about their students, their content, and the teaching profession.
